Expected Value is the systemic logic of profitability over an infinite timeline. To achieve Positive EV (+EV), you must constantly align two distinct data points: your Pot Odds (the price the ecosystem is offering you) and your Equity (your mathematical share of the pot based on your hand’s probability of winning).

The calculation is binary. If your Equity exceeds the Pot Odds, you initiate the Call sequence. If the equation is negative, you Fold. There is no middle ground. For example, if the pot is $100 and you must call $20, your Pot Odds dictate you need at least 16.6% Equity to break even. If your algorithmic scan confirms a 25% chance of hitting your winning flush (Equity), calling is a mathematically mandated +EV execution.

Purging Emotional Bloat from the Mental DOM
